Good day, super newbie here

I didn't know SAP exists until just after I graduated this year. And now I'm very interested learning it but I really can't figure out how to start. Does it have an IDE so I can download and try it? How does it work? I know I should search first and read things out before asking but that's what I'm doing right now. I just want to post here for maybe a fast clarification. LOL Thanks.

i am not saying you can learn from that! but that is the development and run time environment. installing it is not a simple task either!
and i would only recommend getting it from the official source.

This book should give you a good start, and comes with an ABAP trial version on DVD, if you have problems downloading it.

No I mean. SAP Netweaver is like an IDE for SAP ABAP...you know like Eclipse and such.Anyway, thanks for the help. At least now I'm sure that I'll get what I want when I download it since it's really BIG. Thanks again.

Hi Guys,This is Deva and i have taken ABAP training from Marks Solutions (
http://www.markssolutions.com ) last month and they were very professional and they have Completed the course with in the time frame.
I was very much satisfied with the Consultant who taught me SAP ABAP and he is a real time consultant.
So i would recommend marks solutions for the SAP ABAP training and you can also see their course curriculum from the following link:

There are many sources on the net from where you can learn about sap. But it's not as easy as you are thinking. If you want to learn it properly and in a nice way then you should go for the basic courses. You should also consult to an expert about this also so that you can know that how to start it.
