Service Desk notifications

Postby firesword » Mon Sep 07, 2009 7:39 am

Hi All,

We are trying to implement the Service Desk feature of the SOLMAN.
We established a trusted releationship RFC between our Productive and SOLMAN systems.
Now when a user clicks Help/Support Message, the SOLMAN system receives the message.

My question is :
Is it possible for the user to be notified for the status of his message,
by mail or by his SAP business workplace, and this to be done without creating an account/user for him in SOLMAN.

Or is it possible for the user to enter a transaction in the Productive system and see his message
status from there?

10x in advance
Fire

P.S.
I also want to know is it possible for us to be notified when new message arrives. Because it is hard
to enter SOLMAN and refresh the list of messages all the time :D . How this is done?

Yes, have look and define the following auth. object:

Authorization Check for RFC User (e.g. Trusted System) S_RFCACL and the fields given underneath:

ACTVT 16
RFC_CLIENT
RFC_EQUSER
RFC_INFO
RFC_SYSID Y
RFC_TCODE
RFC_USER Do not maintain this field due to security !!!!

Hope, you can proceed further.
