Cancel message in RWB that is already archived

We have two errors in message monitoring for Adapter Engine from last year, but the actual message was already archived way back. If we click on the error number link, it returns nothing. If we go to the detail of that error to cancel it, it fails with "error_action".

How can we clear the error from RWB. This is is on PI 7.1.
