copy/replicate code.

I am not PI guy but want to know if there is a easy way to copy MP code from one object to another. I already have an interface transaction up and running in production sending outbound material master IDOCs to legacy system (non- SAP) via PI. As part of the enchancement, now the IDOC extension is changed in R/3 and that needs to also implemented in PI as well. So instead of manually doing the mapping can i not copy the existing mapping and make changes after i reimport the new idoc structure from R/3.
