Change Management for PI

Postby Stoo » Thu Apr 10, 2008 8:59 pm

Our PI landscape has 3 PI systems - one each for Dev, QA and Prod.

Could someone explain how changes are managed between systems? I don't mean the technical setup - I'll leave that to the basis guys. What I mean is this...

If I create an object in the Integration Repository, say a receiver agreement that expects a message to come from an interface on the Dev server, once that object is transported to PI QA it is nonsense - PI QA would be expecting a message from our QA server.

Does that make sense?

Stoo!

Sorry for delay in responding! I have been on leave!

What you are asking for it's handled in the SLD.

This way, when you transport via CMS or FTP, the new business system in your QA or PRD will updated accordingly!
