Vendor Synchronization

Postby kuk » Mon May 15, 2006 2:20 pm

Hello all,

We have EBP with R/3 backend. Wish to know which all programs are to be run for synchronizing Vendor master with R/3 to EBP system. Such as which following programs/transactions are to be run regularly for new vendor replication and also modifying delta update of vendor data.

1. BBP_VENDOR_SYNC
2. BBPGETVD
3. BBPUPDATEVD

The scenario we are using is:

1. Create all vendors in R/3
2. Run BBPGETVD to create the SRM backend vendors
3. Run BBPUPDVD to create the SRM local vendors.
4. For vendor changes, it suffices to run BBPUPDVD.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information.

Do you usually run BBPGETVD, BBPUPDVD in background or foreground.

Foreground, it's a manual process.

Hi,
We are on SRM 4.0 Extended classic. I am trying to upload vendors from R/3 to SRm. In "BBPUPDATEVD" there is no option of uploading multiple vendors unless its in a range. I have to upload vendors which are not coming in a range, they are scattered, how to do it.
When i tried BBP_VENDOR_SYNC. I am getting a dump with the following message: Function module "BBP_REMOTE_CLNT_CHECK" not found.

Plz suggest what to do.

Thanks

1. Keep track of which ones you already did and which ones you yet have to do :) Or, if you want to replicate all of them, put in a range of 0-99999999.
2. Depending on the circumstances: make use of the opportunity to clean out your vendor base. In other words: rather then replicating old vendors, create new vendors and stop using the old ones.
