The big Linux fan club banner

If it is possible to get a message through to the admins, can you ask them to take down the Linux banner? The forum is effictively dead, and with the amount of SPAM littered everywhere, it's arguably NSFW.

you can remove that yourself....

add the line 127.0.0.1 http://www.linuxfans.com

to your hosts file. make sure to leave a blank line afterwards
and leave the http:// off that SF insists on adding....

Thanks, Baz. No more stupid penguin :) I still get a big red "image not found" icon in it's place in Chrome though:) Any ideas how to get rid of it and why isn't addblock blocking this banner?

By the way, you can use code tag to avoid this http:// thing

Code: Select all

127.0.0.1 www.linuxfans.com
