Hi, as you may be aware, I have gotten into bit of a frizz for answering post related to GuiXT that are "dead".
Could I maybe suggest that there be a dedicated GuiXT Section in the forums, so as to work with current threads only. This was suggested to me by one of your admins, tx4allthefish.
I really think this forum is a brilliant concept, and would like to assit by sharing some of the expertise that I have on GuiXT.
Myself, and Harters, both pro GuiXT lobbyists, would then be able to assist the enormous amount of GuiXT questions that are asked.
Please advise.
Thanks.

there are 415 matches for the keyword GUIXT. there are 13,415 matches for the word urgent. I would vote to create an URGENT forum Seriously, I would use the SAP OTHER forum or THIRD PARTY forums.

You do not seriously use that brilliant power of deduction to determine forum topics?

just for the record. i am not an admin. i am just a mod.
and on the subject at hand: we need not necessarily create a new forum, but we could (for example) extend the description of one forum for all the topics that do not really have a home, like SQVI, Queries, GuiXT. at the least, we mods should act uniformly when moving such threads around. right now some of the GuiXT threads are in Security ... some have been moved to SAP-Other, but most of them are in ABAP.
i think we should assist the SAPFans in giving them a clue where to put such matters ...

It's just that I do not find enough topics on that subject. Let's modify the third party forum description and see what happens.
What description would you put? My suggestion:
Third Party products such as GuiXT, BMC Patrol, Vertex, Ixos etc...

I think it's a great idea to change the Third Party forum description to be more informative and will ensure that if I find GuiXT related messages I place them in there and direct people to that forum for assistance.
Kind Regards

I would suggest Third Party products such as GuiXT, BMC Patrol, Vertex, Ixos And other things that almost no one cares about But maybe that is too many characters
