The time is running .......if you think this layout is not good, then I am curious what you say in 1 or 2 years when it probably changes the next time.
Get used to it, changes are part of your profession and life, and not all changes are liked. In 2 weeks you will probably not be able to explain how the old forum looked.
If you would participate more than just 8 times in 2 years, then you could get quicker used to the new layout.

It is not the layout, it is the content, that makes this forum invaluable.

Hear! Hear! I don't know what all the complaints are about. Sure .. there are a few teething problems in getting a completely new system out, but the layout is fine.

It's not as good as some, but it's better than most! (Beats the crap out of SDN, anyway!)

Hello,

It is a human flaw to always want the old things and times back

Not always, I don't want my ex-husband come back …

To stay in the same tone ….
I would like it too if my wife would be forever 25 …

… As a woman, I always wonder to know why men are more worries about their wife (their women in general) age than about their own age? Only women become older and men stay still young …
He, he….

Still same ambiance …
I complained only about the Search tool… but I don’t like neither the new look. It is too “cold”.
Even if I appreciate the content, and will still use SAPFans, the look is also important and this new one is not very welcome to the new users.
Don’t tell me that the look is not important for you, SAPFans men!
Don’t you prefer beautiful women? And being "forever 25"?

P.S. Anyway, thank you guys for your effort on the SAPFans site. :)
Best Regards,
Malgo

I'm getting used to the new format, but I agree with the previous post that it is a bit 'cold' - a subjective response no doubt.

We've found the new search a bit confusing too. At first it seemed to bring back hardly anything, but it seems to be better now so I guess someone's fixed something. There doesn't seem to be an Advanced Search option in any of the forums, so if you want to use it you either have to go back to the main screen or use the basic search and then choose the option 'Back to Advanced Search'. Any reason why we can't have an Advanced Search option on each of the forum screens?

....I've just noticed that the Advanced Search option is there in the top right hand corner on the ABAP forum screen. Has this just happened or has it always been there and I just didn't notice it?

Hello,

Sorry to ask again in the same topic:
Why the search acoording to the criteria:
+stock +transit +SNP (or +stock +transit +APO etc...)
gives the same results as
+stock +transit
:?:
Can we use the capital letters in the criteria?
Is there another reason?

Thank you very much in advance for your explanation.
Best Regards,

Malgo,

Seems like I remember reading a post that said the words had to be longer than 3 letters - which makes so much sense with SAP using absolutely no 3 letter acronyms...

Malgo, ccm is right. you must use 4-letter words or greater.

sorry for inconveniences.

It is quite possible that I am just not understanding how to use the new search criteria. However, I have tried several different ways of searching for MC.A and it doesn't like any of them.
There are many transaction codes like this in MM, and I have tried searching by the program name, but the actual transaction code would give more hits.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help

MC.A

this is 2 words:

MC
A

unfortunately, you won`t be able to search with this/these keywords.

sorry.
