Job Title: SAP Functional Analyst - FI

Seeking to Hire for a SAP Functional Analyst - FI.
The position is responsible for providing enterprise-wide SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) process and configuration solutions within the CLIENT SAP system. The incumbent must work with various functional (Supply, Demand, Finance) and development teams to determine requirements, build an optimal solution and deliver to the satisfaction of the business needs.

A combination of technologies will be utilized including SAP R/3, BW, and 3rd party tools were appropriate.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Gather and document functional requirements.
• Driving process and system design; providing leadership to others in a support role.
• Configure, test and implement system solutions.
• Work on or among other non-SAP systems , interfaces, planning systems, credit systems, imaging tools
• Participating in testing at all levels (unit, integration and user testing); designing and driving testing initiatives; develop and execute test plans; provide leadership to others in support role.
• Participating in training efforts (material creation, train-the-trainer, training delivery, end user training).
• Communicating project goals, progress, issues and general information via written and verbal mediums as warranted.
• Construct workplans that will be utilized (by self or others) to achieve stated deliverables.
• Lead implementation support efforts; partnering with technology (ie. sw developers) and end-users to achieve objectives.
• Function as a change agent to build and transition skills to end-users.
• Perform in a collaborative, integrated project team environment.
• Sponsoring solution design and assisting in achieving buy-in.
• Will perform as an SAP functional configuration specialist on project fixes and improvements; will partner with other analysts and developers.
• Partner with external sources (SAP, other SW suppliers and business partners) to design and implement solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • BS Degree in a technical discipline.
• Project Management Professional certification preferred.
• 5+ years of SAP R/3 reporting and SAP queries; AFS experience preferable.
• 7+ years in a related industry (ie. apparel/retail preferred, consumer products, discrete manufacturing, warehousing) is recommended.
• Must have a deep understanding of Financial, general accounting & controlling processes (GL, AP, AR, FA, COGS, credit, planning, etc.) and supporting tools (legacy or alternative new solutions)
• SAP R/3, FICO Configuration experience
• Experience with SAP ASAP implementation methodology and tools
• Cross functional experience in Materials Management (MM) or Sales & Distribution (SD) preferred
• Knowledge/experience with Product Development, Production Planning and Logistics applications is desirable.
• Comfortable with making design and solutions strategy decisions
• Skilled in user support, troubleshooting and error resolution
• Must be able to effectively function in a demanding and dynamic environment; ability to multi-task is essential
• Senior enough to lead and guide as warranted while directly engaged in day-to-day details of the business scenario and tools set
• Regarded by their peers, able to exercise influence and appropriately exert a position
• Strong written and communication skills; able to interact with technology analysts as well as business partners
• A good working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including MS Project and Visio
• Position works a conventional M-F schedule however off hour and weekend work may be required to satisfy deliverables and provide system support
• Must be proficient in English.
• The ability to think openly, write and communicate clearly is of equal importance to technical skills.
• Mathematical Skills- (Intermediate)- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Able to move about the various JAG locations and work with minimal supervision or provisions.
