POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Technical Systems Analyst/Developer primarily designs and codes programs around our core BW reporting structures. This position works closely with systems architects and peer developers to define solutions through technical analysis. In addition, this position will be responsible for facilitating data validation and testing while acquiring a comprehensive understanding of business systems and technical best practices. Serves as a proactive business partner and as part of a global team to enable business processes through technology in an integrated enterprise systems environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Global business support
o First level contact for the Business Analysts for any inquiries re: application or technical support and potential technical solutions.
o Provides ongoing responsibility for system failure prevention, system problem calls and user inquiries. This includes regular system maintenance and support which may require some evening, weekend and on-call support.
o Seeks constant improvement opportunities and appropriately challenges processes to ensure global consistency.
• Project
o Collaborate with development team to produce detailed technical program design and specifications and to code, test & implement technical tools or systems. Provides post-implementation process and application support.
o Considers trade-offs between application performance, scalability, reliability, availability, maintainability, manageability and business requirements.
• Additional Responsibilities
o Completes tasks to meet project deadlines and support Service Level Agreement’s
o May occasionally function as Team Lead or as a Project Lead for a phase of a project.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• AA Degree in in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field strongly preferred
• At least 3-5 years of technical programming and reporting development experience required
• At least 1-2 years of object based programming experience strongly preferred
• Basic understanding of technical systems analysis required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Experience or strong familiarity with SAP ECC 6.0 (R/3) and BW 7.0 preferred
• Familiarity with Project Management processes preferred
• Multi-cultural project experience preferred
