SAP Business Analyst (MM, PP & WM) Washington, DC Metro

We are located in Germantown, MD ( Washington, DC Metro area) and seeking an experienced SAP functional analyst with over 5 years experience in the configuration of SAP R/3 MM/PP/WM modules for full life-cycle implementation and post-implementation support. Qualified candidates must have proven configuration experience in MM, Purchasing, PP, WM, and QM. Specific experience in Process Industries (PP-PI) is a plus.

Position Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the business community (supply chain, warehouse, and manufacturing management) to understand and prioritize business goals and information needs, evaluate potential solutions in SAP and recommend effective solutions
• Server as lead SAP MM/PP/WM resource for the North American SAP Team in the area of configuration, blue printing, and requirements gathering
• Analyze, test, implement and document configuration/customization changes using SAP best practices
• Investigate new applications and propose implementation concepts
• Participate in various integration projects as a team member of an international team. Assume project lead role when required
• Prepare and maintain detailed project plans
• Provide end-user training and support

Minimum requirements:
• Candidates must have hands on experience in the following areas:
-Configuration of Master data including bills of material, material master, routings, work centers, and control cycles
-Sales and operation planning demand management and Material Requirements Planning
-Production orders and production interfaces to sales and distribution and WM
-Batch management and batch determination
-Inventory management
-Inbound deliveries and advanced shipping notifications
-Logistics invoice verification
-Automatic account determination
-Warehouse management strategies
-Warehouse management movement types
-WM interface to QM
-Quality management
-CATT’s, ABAP query, and OSS note implementation
• A strong understanding of the integration points between FI/CO, SD, and other modules is highly desired
• Knowledge of best practices including development of enhanced functionality of MM/PP module
• Designing global blue print for business processes (gap analysis) and documenting the IMG
• Project management skills; experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation.
