Cancelling a Billing Doc - data inconsistency error

while cancelling a credit memo i get error log
data inconsistency during processing of document
Returns order - ret Delivery - returns credit memo
it also says document (returns order )is currently being processes while it is not . i am able to go in to the change mode for the returns order.

any idea why this is happening

Hi,

Just find out the Lock entries in SM12 and also tell the error message number, so that it will be easy fo visulizing the error...

I currently do not have acess to SM12
Would check it with an Abaper .

As far as the error message number goes it is
VF056
VF188
VF342.

Hi Murali,

I checked SM12 Transaction and found that none of the entries are locked .


possibly need to figure out why data inconsistency error happening .

in addition to the error that the document is being processed .
The error message nos are

VF056
VF188
VF342
