multiple occurance of unit in hierarchy

Postby Hot Asien Teen » Fri Nov 09, 2007 9:38 am

What happens if a unit uccurs twice in the hierarchy, in one cons group it has a parent tick, in the other not? Both seem to have 100% share capital in the item?

What I believe is happening is that the equity and the ownership is cascaded upwards, to all supperior units in the heirarchy, however, the investment is only reflected once.

Confused... :?
Electricity is actually made up of extremely tiny particles called electrons, that you cannot see with the naked eye unless you have been drinking.

Sometimes I think I understand everything, then I regain consciousness.

More details would be helpful. But, my initial thoughts are that the values of the subsidiary will be double counted for reporting if in both cases the same accounting technique is assigned.
