Copy a key figure from a characteristic to a different one..

Postby elvinagres » Fri Oct 26, 2007 6:26 am

... but in different planning areas!!! :shock:

HI.

I have this problem.

I have this key figure 0AMOUNT and characteristic DIV, planning area A. Well, I'd like to copy that line to be copy to key figure 0AMOUNT and characteristic DIV2, planning area B.... That is:

Origin:

{0AMOUNT, DIV, A} = {0AMOUNT,DIV2,B}

This would be quite easy if both characteristics exist in both planning areas, but the truth is that they don't:

DIV2 does not exist in planning area A.

Is there a way to make that copy?? I don't think a standard function would work, and a FOX needs all of the characteristics to exist in both planning area...

Any ideas???? :roll:

Thanx in advance

Nope, you can use a fox formula on characteristics that are not on both planning areas.

Something like :

{0AMOUNT, DIV, DIV2, PLANNING AREA}.

{0AMOUNT, DIV_VALUE, #, A} = {0AMOUNT, #, DIV2_VALUE, B}

should perfectly work.

DIV is in A but not in B and DIV2 is in B but not in A.
