Execute a global planning sequence from upspm in Background

Postby Kikka » Wed Sep 05, 2007 6:15 am

Hi Gurus,

we have read some posts regarding this subject, but our problem isn't solved.

We create a Global Planning Sequence with 2 planning function.
Then we create a variant on program UPC_BUNDLE_EXECUTE.
We create in se37 a function module with:
1)"JOB_OPEN";
2) "SUBMIT UPC_BUNDLE_EXECUTE with selection-set variant"
3) "JOB_CLOSE"

When we execute this function module via se37 it works (with only one job), but when we execute the function above via upspm (Planning function), it creates several background jobs as many records it reads.

Can you help us?

Thanks in advance

Best Regards
K

Finally, I have found a solution :).

There is a "how to" document called "how to execute a planning sequence in batch from a BPS end user frontend".

Bye
