SEM-BCS Breakdown Check - use and guidance

Has anyone used the Breakdown Check functionality?

This is used when the Breakdown Category is changed on an existing item, the check can then be run to ensure that existing database postings match to the new breakdown requirements.

Questions:
1. Has anyone used it?
2. If so, which users have you given this to, regular users, super users or some sort of central technical users?
2. The user interface does not seem very clear, when the inconsistent values are 'highlighted' it is not clear which consolidation unit the error is for (and you cannot choose to run the check per Consolidation Unit).

Any tips or guidance welcomed.

I have used this before and access would be given typically to those who may also make changes to the breakdown categories, as this is the only time where the check is necessary. There is not a lot of details as to where the inconsistencies exist but searching the totals records will usually provide the answers.
