SEM-BCS: Loading and Consolidating Multiple Periods

Post by TheScotsman » Wed Aug 09, 2006 8:52 am

Hi,
I would like to load periods 1-12 of a year in 1 load and run all tasks for the whole year consecutively.

In BCS 4.0 this doesn't seem possible - has anyone tried / acheived it?

(it was possible in EC-CS)

The only way I know to accomplish this with BCS is via program UCBATCH00 and/or UCBATCH01.

Good luck.

Loading in multiple periods

Hi
In my opinion you may not load the data for the multiple period in one shot. As per desing you can execute for per period and also the task can be executed per period only and not en mass. If some one has really done it may be they can share. I dont thing we can us use UCBATCH00 or 01 for this purpose. Due to design limitations u may not do this using this.
