Certificate for Calibration

Postby Lawlord » Thu Jan 16, 2014 2:00 pm

Hi All,
I was looking to find out the process for setting up a PDF form to print from QA32 when I click on the Certificate Icon.

The inspection lot source is 14 (Plant Maintenance), the process is the Inspector records results on the characteristics, then makes a Usage Decision. Once the UD is made they should select the Lot and print the Certificate.

Any help in doing this would be great.

Thanks

Hello... printing Quality Certificates is a big issue.

Have you created a Certificate profile using QC01? You may use the standard form if you haven't design any customized form. Remember to assign the Master Inspection Characteristic that you want to be printed.
Once certificate profile is created, have to assign it to a material with QC15.

Now, after the inspection of that material, you can print a Quality Certificate by QA32 (inspection lot has to have US and all the MIC completed).

You can also print Certificates with QC21 using the inspection lot.

Hope this solves your problem

Best regards

Thanks for the response.
No it does not since there is no material, this is a 14 type inspection.

I am going to use a User exit at UD time to check the inspection type and print the PDF form.
