Batch Derivation between different Company Codes

Postby PWNeiss » Thu Jan 31, 2013 8:38 am

Hi Gurus,
we have Batch derivation active, is running without problems. But now we have to derive Data between different Company Codes (on the same client).
Result: No sending Batch found. Has anybody any idea, how we can achieve Batch derivation between different comnpany codes?
Thanks very much for your suggestions

I think you are going to have to use the business add-in to add additional code to do what you want.

Craig,
that's what we are using already for Batch derivation on Stock Transfer Orders. I guess, I have to follow your recommendation and add some additional code on it.
Thanks

Humh..thinking on the fly here....do you get the correct results when you run the batch where-used list for such batches?..I thought within the same client as long as the batch where-used works, derivation should...but as we know, surprises are commonplace !
Let me look in on my end as well..

Hi Anand,
thanks for your Suggestion.
I executed the MB56 for the sending plant and see the batch in Bottom up Analysis until the Delivery. In receiving Plant I got with Top down Analysis the Batch until the Purchase Order. No connection between Purchase Order and Delivery.
I'm afraid, I have to go with the Badi?
Thanks for you ideas
