Usage decision catalog

Hello SAP Fans...

When I want to close an inspection lot with Usage Decision, the system displays all the catalog 3 repeatedly. How can I avoid this? I just need 3: 01 Goods receipt, 03 Production and 09. All others are mark as "Can no longer be use" and are not displayed. But the ones I mentioned are displayed several times.

Any help is appreciated.

Typically we define the selected set to be used in the inspection type set up in configuration.

I usually also click on the indicator "Selected set in own plant". You then create a selected set for 01 inspection types in each plant where UD's are made. They should all have the EXACT same name, just in different plants.

For smaller operations, you can leave off the indicator and just create one selected set. This allows the use of the same codes across all plants. Provided no one needs something special.

For larger operations, I usually find it more benefical to use the indicator and create a custom list of UD codes for each plant/inspection type.
