hi all

i am making upload of inspection plan through batch input direct method. i have made all but when i go to create batch input session mesaage came 'Characteristic has not yet been created
Message no. QS320'

what can be the probelm.

Hate to ask the obvious question, but does the MIC / Plant / Version exist? Is it released?

This message is usually pretty much dead on.

I'd check the MIC's again as Donk indicated.

Make sure that the plant your specifying for the MIC in the upload is the correct plant for the MIC.

If you create the plan in plant 1000 for instance, then plant 1000 is defaulted in for the MIC unless you change it in the upload file. So if the MIC's are from plant 2000, and you don't specifically change the plant number in your load file for it, it won't find the MIC.

Hi,

I have found a solution to this problem. The error "Characteristic has not yet been created" occurs when you do not map any source field for QPMK_ZAEHL (Plant for the Master Inspection Characteristic) in the structure BIPMK-Inspection characteristics for batch input of task lists.

Try this and the problem is resolved.
