MM Reservation Workflow

Postby mganda » Fri Nov 07, 2008 6:02 am

The object type BUS2093 does not have events. I have created a custom event through a subtype and a program to raise the event and trigger a workflow I have created. Now when I create a reservation via transaction MB21 and i execute the program the event is raised and the workflow triggered but without the object reference. The program i have used to raise the event is highlighted herebelow:
REPORT ZRESERVATION .
TABLES: RESB, RKPF.
INCLUDE <CNTn01>.
DATA: object_key LIKE sweinstcou-objkey,
eventid LIKE swedumevid-evtid.
DATA: objtype LIKE swetypecou-objtype VALUE 'BUS2093',
event LIKE swetypecou-event VALUE 'CREATED'.
swc_container evt_container.
data: reser like rkpf-rsnum.
object_key = reser.
CALL FUNCTION 'SWE_EVENT_CREATE'
exporting
objtype = 'BUS2093'
objkey = object_key
event = 'created'
tables
event_container = evt_container
exceptions
others = 01.

commit work.

Folks out there please giving me tips to help have my workflow have reference to the object i. e. reservation created if a work item is created.

Thanks.

Hi,

I have found out the solution. The problem was getting the object key to instantiate the object. Thanks.
