Substitution in Workplace

Postby conquer » Mon Oct 21, 2002 9:46 am

Is it possible to transfer the aprovall (via Substitution in Business Workplace) only for one type of workflow ?
For example, I have a user that configured the substitution to another user, then all the work itens will be delivered to the new user. But I want that work items of a specified workflow process do not use the substitution and be delivered to the original user.
Is it possible to implement this in Workflow ?

Tim:
The substitution function is only meant to be used in instances
where, say, a user goes on holiday, so workitems are
forwarded to a delegate so as not to halt the process.

From what you're describing,
it sounds like you wish to use substitution as a permanent
approach to ensure the workitem reaches the correct agent.

Your best bet is to review the way your agent assignment
is set up - there's plenty in the SAP library on this;
failing that speak to OSS, or a workflow consultant.
