Authorisation to EXCELL file

Postby Guest » Wed Oct 23, 2002 6:22 am

Hello,

I've problem with authorization to download data in EXCELL.
User have S_GUI, S_RFC,......

1/ In Query:
A user "A" execute a Query and after want download the result in excell (with the ALV MEnu).
If I do it with a SAP_ALL, the results are good: data are downloaded in EXCELL (in several page, with macro,...).
With the user "A", there are only a part of data.
I try to compare Authorization Check with ST01: no difference!
I try to add all object which could be used (Command extern, System Expoloitation, Office, ,....)
Can Someone say me what is the object?

2/ A user can't download a list (Menu System/List/Save are grey) in the MD04 transaction.
There are no Authorization Check in more (in ST01) with a SAP_all user.
Can someone know the object?

Best regards

Hi,

Once the problems occurs, use Tx SU53, then you will know which object is missing.

There is nothing in SU53.

For 1/ (ALV and macro EXCELL), I havn't no error message. and I get a part of data in EXCELL file, but not all.
With a SAP_ALL user, Excell Macro are launched.
So, I can't use SU53. I try Use ST01 but no difference between SAP_ALL and the user for the CHECK authority.

For 2/ the function is Grey, so no using.
So here too, I can't use SU53.
I try to do a ST01 with a SAP_ALL without succes.

thanks for your help;

Have you checked the Macro security level within Excel?

Hi KEvin,

And When I logg with this user it's Not OK.

Well how about you double check that the user has S_GUI = 61. Also can the user run the report as a normal report not going into excel? If not it may be one of the following:-
K_KEB_REP
K_KEB_TC
K_REPO_OPA
S_BDS_DS

Also try C_PDC.

Sorry I can't be of more help.
