authorization group for a new role

dear sirs

im PM consultnt
i requested from our SAP basis section to create new role for a one Ztable transaction code only change and desplay

but they asking for which authrization group to be assighned in the role

actually im not aware of that

please help

Check table TDDAT to see if and which authorization group is linked to the table. If the authorization group (CCLASS) is either empty or "&NC&" ask your developers to assign a group to the table. This does not have to be an existing group.

As a security person you are allowed to change the aurhorization groups on tables by using transaction SUCU or SE54. You do not need the developer team to do anything.
