Error with Web Dynpro tab My Home

Postby newcity20 » Wed Apr 11, 2012 12:04 pm

Good afternoon everyone.

I have a problem related to an invalid character accidentally inserted into a Web Dynpro Standard and now I can no longer remove the character, because when you open the page displays an error page and the same is no longer loaded.
I'm adding the text below the procedure done before the problem occurred.

=================================================================================================================================

Procedures performed before the error in the Web Dynpro (My Home)

1. Opened the transaction PFCG.

2. Role SAP_GRAC_NWBC edited.

3. Open the MENU tab.

4. Expanding the Role menu folder \ My Home, Right Web Dynpro WDY_APPLICATION - My Home Details option.

5. In the window click on the Web Dynpro Application boatão Run -> Customizing.

6. Allow application execution via browser with the option Allow this one time or other to allow access and click OK.

7. Clicking the right mouse button in any area "white" web page and select the option Settings for Current Configuration.

8. In the Current Configuration Settings window is expanded which element should receive the new item, click the right mouse button on the "son" and select the Add Decorative Element.

9. In the Add Element Decorative Screen select the type and click OK.

10. In the Height field was added an invalid character and after that the procedure was saved by generating a new Request.

11. When updating the web page was presented the below error and so it was not possible to edit the Web Dynpro for removal of the invalid character previously entered.

The visualization of the My Home page is only allowed when choosing the option in the Configuration window Web Dynpro Application, but this way is not possible to edit the page.
