I realize that any changes, etc., are recorded in the system, but can the system generate a report to view a user's navigation activities?

Thanks Gurus,

Cheers,

I've seen reports which show if a user has used a certain transaction code (e.g. who has been access the screen to generate/print checks). I'm not sure how this report is generated - sorry.

Hello,

for a short time you can see parts of the user activity via TX STAD. You can see which TX is used, also thy Dynpro #, but no values or things like this.

Bye

You can use ST03N to take a look at the tcodes someone has used over the last 3 months ( if you keep that much information )

You could also get someone who can write ABAP to write you a report using the funtion module SWNC_COLLECTOR_GET_AGGREGATES to extract the same information.

Transaction SM20 will show you a list of the transactions a user has executed by date. However, it won't show what they did within the transaction. Use SM19 to activate tracking in SM20.

The infomation you want is in the files the ST03 and ST03N uses. There is also a user exit in the collection report to add additional information to the data stored. As I recall you can find some of the navigation in ST03 but the data is not a accurate or complete as you may like.

The information housed in the files also shows if the user logged in from a different sytem , namely development to production via RFC and whcih ID was used if I recall correctly. It also show if the transaction was used to update the database or not, how mwny times it was run, etc. Unfortunatley ST03 and ST03N are lacking from an audit report but reams of information is in there that can tell you pretty much what a user did.
