Activity type for auth obj F_BKPF_BLA document type

Post by rsub » Sun Jul 11, 2010 10:45 pm

Hello All,

We are using ver ECC 6.0 and have the functionality of park and post roles. We have used authorization groups and attached the same to object F_BKPF_BLA with the required activity types for park and post roles. Park role contains activity type '02', '03' and '77'. The post role contains '01', '03' and '77'.

Question is the standard drop down contains a activity type '10' (defined as POST). What is the function of this activity type? How different is it from '01'. I have searched for documentation in vain. Any inputs on this activity type would be welcome.

Best Regards
Ram

Hi Ram,

to my knowledge activity 10 is not tested for F_BKPF_BLA.
It's indeed strange the activity was listed in the list of possible values.
Posting a document requires activity 01 (create) exactly as you indicated.

best regards,

Wouter

Hi

Run a filtered trace on a test user with almost SAP_ALL in your QA environment and be very precise on the steps that the tester carries out to process the doc but don't let them run away with a 'ooh we might just do this' scenario.

Once you have that then do a UAT and check all is as expected, once in PRD you'll get the ultimate test and then refine the object value as required. Keep the object values as tight as possible - it's all too easy to give wider access because it's quicker.
Real Daleks don't use the stairs. They just level the building.
Well - okay - so now they can fly - that's not fair!
