Block SAP query variant save

Hi Gurus,
when I start a query with a user in SQ01 this user can save a variant to start this transaction.
I need to avoid this: I want to don't give to the user the save functionality for sap query variant.
How is it possible?

You will have to check with your other functionals ... if you suppress variants in queries, you have to suppress them everywhere, since the object protecting variants (S_PROGRAM, P_ACTION: Variant)) goes for all variants, be those of reports, queries, quickies, transactions (like IW72) and those generated CO-thingies- the only distinguishing aspect being the authorisation group P_GROUP. Since queries are stored as generated Abaps, I very much doubt they are automatically assigned to a group - which again leaves you in a kind of dilemma, since the value 'blank' in P_GROUP is then a kind of wildcard.

I can only see black or white here ... no gray.
