Role Descriptions missing after SP

We create Auth. roles in English and they have always been translated to Swedish automatically. Suddenly we notice that when we use SUIM och PFCG, some of the roles have lost their description, they are blank! And we get an wrror message:There are no texts in language EN, Thext for the role exist in language SV. USer transaction SE63 to translate missing texts". And this is not correct - the role is originally created in English...

So - where are the texts? Have searced SAP for a note, but not found any...

There isn't any because this is SAP standard behaviour at least as of 4.7, if I remember correctly.

Roles (amongst other things) are always created in the logon language. You will have to translate the ones you need in SE63.

Did you import the language dependent part of your SP in SMLG?

The problem is that the roles are created in the logon language, that is English and it is the English texts that are missing. I would understand if the Swedish text is missing... but not the original text.

Nota bene - not all texts are missing, only about 10%.

BTW. I did mean: SMLT ... every part of a Support Package has a bit of language dependency in it.

What's your release? And which SP's did you implement?
