Hello,

Can someone tell me what is the easiest way to find the table used in an IMG transaction?
I need to find the name for some IMG activities to display in SM30 instead of IMG path/tcode.

Thanks
pld

Go into the table in IMG & click on an entry. Press F1 - Technical Info & the table is displayed.

Table CUS_ACTOBJ has a list of the tcodes and the table reference in it under object name.

You can also use the Customizing Cross-system Viewer (SCU0) to generate a "New comparison based on.... SAP Reference IMG", selecting part of the IMG to be compared between systems or clients. The resulting compare will show all customizing tables used by that branch of the IMG.

There's a safe way to find out, via right-click on the IMG object and selection of "Technical Info" you can find out the view cluster. Proceed from there. It's described in this blog post: http://www.dev-workbench.com/blog/how-t ... g-objects/
Hope that helps!
