Exception security parameter

Hi everyone
We have security parameters in place for passwords on our system. Is there a profile parameter where I can identify some users as exception for the rule?

What kind of exception are you looking for? And on which SAP version/sp are you?

We have security parameters regarding user password (upper case, special letters, etc) on SOLAMN 7.1. Since some special users were created before applying these rules, password pattern was not considered. However, we need to avoid chaging the password for these users. I remember there was a profile parameter for exception cases, but not sure what is it or if it applies to my case.

If the special users are not dialog users you're fine. Password expiration rules only apply to dialog users as far as I know.

solman_admin user is dialog. What is the parameter for xeempting this user?

I do not think that is possible. But if it is a dialog user than why do you not want it's password to be changed? If this user and password are also used in ABAP connections to other SAP systems I advise you have a look at "trusted rfc" so you do not need to store the password in the connection configuration.
