Confused between Oracle & SAP

Postby rosie82 » Mon Sep 29, 2014 7:00 am

Hi, I am new to this community and don't now whether its ok to ask this question here, but I would really appreciate if someone can help.

I am working in an IT Company in a support role and have been waiting for a due promotion from last few years, now the management says I will have to develop some IT skills to get a promotion.

Since I am working in project management role for an Oracle team, I was advised by my manager to learn something in oracle.

After much research I have considered SAP/Oracle and SAS since these 3 are in demand in my company as well as outside, I am also considering moving out of my current organization. I have certain limitations, I can not afford to do the training by an institute and right now I want to look for online free material, I know little bit of SQL. Can anyone please suggest which skill would be best to learn online free.

I know in which country she lives because I'm a mod but nobody else knows. she should put more info if she want useful help from people here.

anyways, I replied a week ago and she did not even reply to my questions.

it looks like a dead topic.

If you wait long enough, you can probably find the same question cross posted in any number of forums.
