REAl time Questions?

Post by UVAMSHI » Thu Apr 10, 2014 8:05 pm

HI EXPERTS,
I need some doubts in REAL TIME ENVIRONMENT...
1-Is it required to transfer objects from DEVELOPMENT client to QUALITY client/PRODUCTION client after creating...

Just submitting finished work to FUNCTIONAL consultant is NOT ENOUGH??????

Dude, your keyboard should have a key called "caps lock". I'll suggest you one of two:

* press it and re-write your message without using caps
* or take it and put it into your darkest hole

This is to write

and

THIS IS TO SHOUT

Did you noticed the difference? Nice. Now you can start to use Google and/or to take a basic course.

How about asking this in the relevant forum (as I advised you in your other thread)?
General discussions is for non-SAP related topics. You won't get a serious answer here.

My reply should be: you don't NEED more doubts in real time environment, you have enough of them. Good luck in the proper board, dude.

The SAP Experts of today ...

Reminds me of so many other questions.

But it's the same on the functional side. You rarely get context, you only get bone.
I guess, if it were me, 90% of all business justifications would go right back to sender simply because
the context is missing.

Recently I was tasks with a problem (during blue print) to eliminate or reduce conditions and access sequences a previous consultant had cooked up. As the situation was, access to the client was "verboten".
I spend days and weeks, trying to come up with a solution that was based on a false - because never clearly stated - requirement.

Worse of all, the clients software was home grown and on an AS/400 or now iSeries. Never mind that I know that system inside out. I could have just signed on and analyzed what they had in place to see how that can be achieved in SAP, but due to "no client access" I couldn't.

Finally, I met one of the client guys during a smoke break and brought up the issue - bad, bad me.
15 minutes later, I had a good picture of the real requirement and it took us another day or so to build a good proto type. The problem weren't so much condition type and access sequences, that's just what they had "assumed" since no meaningful and complete requirement had been provided.

I swear to God, if people would simply offer better information and the whole picture much time could be saved and more elegant and stable solutions be found.

It the same with job offers - a rant I didn't write the other day.

What ever happened to a project scope description?
What is it, the client wants to achieve?

I don't want any more dumb questions from agents looking for OTC consultants, asking certified people, if they can do billing too.

I want to know what the client actually wants!!
Where are the problems, what is wrong, why (if they know) it's wrong.

Absolutely embarrassing are things were there are requirements to work on ticket resolutions :)
Mind you - the ticket, not the cause.

Snowy,

I shit you not. I had a recent interview and AFTER the interview got a list of questions from the agencies as to whom did I talk to, did we talk about the same position etc and so on.

I told him to ask the frekking client, cause they are the one paying him.

I swear to God, people are loosing all their marbles in this business.

Wrong. You want to know what the client actually NEEDS. But even them do not know it.
