Gilwice, Poland

Post by Craig » Thu Sep 12, 2013 9:04 am

Anyone travel here before?

I'm looking for any tips, suggestions, etc. for traveling to Poland and to the Gilwice area.
Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, clubs, tourist traps to see, tourist traps to avoid.

I'll also be in Holland, (Amsterdam area), as well for about a week. I'm pretty set there. But any suggestions would be welcomed as well.

Will be there in Mid-October.

If anyone is around either area maybe we can get a beer or two together.

Tractor. Tractor is preferred mode of travel.

I am told women dig for tractors. Why not rent a Lamborghini Tractor?

It's not far from Krakow, so you will probably go there. And Warsaw, of course. I would not risk driving there, and trains are inexpensive. In Warsaw, the downtown between the Central station and the river 3 km to the east, plus the Old Town is nice. My suggestion to stay is Novotel on Marszałkowska street, it's a kind of high tower so if your room is in upper floors, you get a nice panorama of the city. Weekend rate is much lower than on business day, and breakfast is really really good.

Thanks Ilya!

With our plans firmed up now we will be flying into Katowice. Then a 20 min drive by driver to Gilwice. So no time on this trip probably to "see" anything. :-(

I have only two pieces of wisdom to share

1. Dont miss this opportunity to enjoy the attentions of skinny Slavic pole dancers. The place you are looking for will be called a Night Club and full service will be available

2. The young woman standing by the side of the road flashing you their breasts are not just comfortably warm, they are advertising a sexual service. And they have mistaken you for a German

O and wear a condom... the whole time your there
In my opinion, Pepper Spray is underutilized as an effective tool for scope control

Do this will be a bit uncomfortable... for peeing and so... It should be more useful to carry some in your pockets and use them for sexual relationships...
