That some one out there knows where there may be a copy of SAP R/2 for an IBM S370 running MVS and JES2 ? Preferably in AWS Tape format.

Don't ask why. It's just a whim.....

Is there a mad scientist trying to take over the world with SAP R/2?

No Sire! I do not buy that argument. It always starts with something innocent. Herr Hitler was good at smocking and embroidery.

I smell plain trouble from Herr Rich innocuous requirements!!

I think he's going to corner the market on old tape systems.

That way when then the EMI bomb goes off he'll be the only one with any data left on something recoverable.

Ho hum 8)

I've just dusted off an IBM s370/185 running MVS and JES2. In fact I've just loaded a load of compilers from Algol to Snobol. There's also a whole bunch of TSO users.

And I was just wondering.....

ps. If any ones interested I'll try and get it online.

Rich

You still don't get his taking over the world plans? Before I get thrown into a lunatic asylum (& learn new BASIS tricks), here are the dots you can connect:

IBM s/370
SAP R/2

Ring the bell? No? I knew!!

Aha!! Here's the proof. He's planning for V5 rockets:

Well Thanx Baz. You're demoted from Junior Programmer to Tea Boy.

Oh, and in my quest to take over the world I've written to SAP asking if they have a spare copy being used as a door stop.

And oh again... my quest is gathering pace. VM/370 with 250 users started up last night.
