Beers, pole-dancers and Google Chrome

Post by VLozano » Mon Jul 25, 2011 5:20 am

(ok, the subject had the goal to make Bryson to appear here... maybe he will write us its legendary "v" word)

Hi. I've become a bit tired of Firefox, and decided to give a chance to Chrome. But I have a nasty problem with google ads and SF. Although I added filters (in adBlock Plus for Chrome) for each SF's ads frame, I'm getting blank zones where the ads should be shown. And before create those personal filters, the first time chrome loaded a page with google ads, it shows those ads. If I reload the page, the ads disappear.

Anyone has/had the same problem? Anyone found a better solution than mine?

PLZ, URGENT, I'LL GIV POINTS

(Edited: I'm using adBlock Plus for Chrome)

you can get adblock and adblock plus (both free) extensions for google chrome....

but google blocking googleads is not a smart move.... :)

You shouldn't have betrayed the fox - now you're cursed.
I recommend an exorcism (mostly based on beer and strong language).

Try out chromeplus browser instead of chrome. Chromeplus is better with blocking of ads and doesn't relay information to google.
Its better in every sense.
