Dear Mr Kadam,

This question is in every IT Head/ owner's mind. Which ERP to implement? Which company to choose for Implementation? Generally what people do is ask reputed companies (Big Companies/ Companies with large no. of clients) for implementation. Don't do this, every company is unique and their processes are unique.

You have asked one question. Is there any site to know companies success ratio. Answer is No.

What you can ask the implementing partner is
  • Are they ready to run extra mile for doing the implementation
  • Do they believe you as a partner or just a client ( A partner co. will always look for long term relationship )
  • What do they mean by successful implementation. Is it just all the modules and process are automated or helps you in better decision making?
  • And the most important question Can they solve your pain areas / Can they provide you solution for the problem ?
  • Will your end-users get hands on experience during implementation
  • Is the implementing partner ready for knowledge transfer and do they have process in place for the same?

Everything you have been told on this subject is complete rubbish. Especially that last tosser

You only need to ask one question:

"What is your current contractural relationship with Mr Bryson Gamble"

If they say "Who" hang up the phone you are wasting your time.
If they say "We fired that bastard for stealing office supplies" hang up the phone you have dialed a wrong number.
But if they say Bryson is a contractor in good standing with our organization proceeded directly to contract negotiation. And order more office supplies we are going to need them
In my opinion, Pepper Spray is underutilized as an effective tool for scope control
