well at that game you'll get one!! I once got taken to a Milwall home game by a "friend" in London... I spent a significant portion of the match hiding under the seats in the terraces.

But if you want real blood we need to get Leeds back in the top flight against the "red filth" AKA Manchester United - there's always been a certain emnity between the two clubs and it doesn't get better than a local(ish) derby with grudges that go back 40 years. :D
Kind Regards

My hotel is accross from the train station in Leeds. last time Milwall came to leeds they surounded the train station with cops and escorted the fans to the field. It was pretty exciting

On the subject of ESOA...

Have you ever looked into taking the official SAP certification for ESOA/BPM etc?.

It's odd because back in April SAP were laying down their future plans for ESOA, and at the same time announced that there is no longer a shortage of SAP consultants and that there should be an improvement in the quality of existing consultants by ensuring they are suitable trained. As a result of this statement you would think that it would not be an issue to get training and sit examinations and suchlike, but there definitely seems to be a problem where ESOA/BPM is involved.

Any advice would be welcome.

Guys, it seems that you are not aware of the fact that idesaccess is provided by the same guy who was clashing with Snowy a couple of years ago and it went up to personal threats. So I would be careful on signing up.

Rosie, SAP provides VMware images for latest versions of NetWeaver. I tried to run it and it was not very difficult - you just need a relatively recent machine. I have cheap 1.8 GHz Core2duo with 3 GB RAM and it was very slow, but still useful if you have time. You get Basis with some BW stuff installed (for some Basis-related reporting I guess). There is a lot of things to learn in the new version if you leave that bs about Web services alone.

And maybe you can ask someone for a real IDES VM image? (well, it's against some rules...)

Pardon me Sidewalk and Ilya, but you do seem to be interupting what has now turned into Gamble and Rosie's logistics coordination thread here.
Obviously "Out of work - what should I do with my time?" is all about how and when to get together for drinks, and really has nothing to do with this techy stuff you 2 are babbling about.

Come to Australia? I keep getting calls from agents looking for ABAP developers and SAP gurus...naturally, after I'm sitting in a nice permie position.

Whilst I am aware of idesaccess and Snowy's issues in the past they are their issues - not mine.

I'm a good girl when it comes to licensing and try not to break the rules :)

And yes, this thread is more about drinking than anything else now - just what happens when BG and I start talking :D

There is a pub across the street from the train station. Something hotel, I will walk by and get the name tomorrow evening. We can meet there and then stroll to Normans.

Anyone else joining?

No problem - there's loads of hotels in city square and it would be great if anyone else can be in the area to catch up too...
