Rich, why be so shy? Jo has been a great contributor at sapfans around 2003-2006 until she got into that argument, but at the beginning it was you indeed who was doing the great job.

Uber Goober is back up - for now at least. This whole host provider thing is driving me nut so I renewed with the old one for another three months until I can find a new one that can actually do what it says it can do.

Sorry for the inconveniece, everyone - it only happens every few years or so.

Jo helped out a lot on this board in the beginning and provided a valueable resource in Uber-goober. All the documents found on UG were in the public domain anyway.

She also went out of her way to host SE37.Com for a while before moving it to a commercial server and paying for that server for a good two years or so.

In other words, shut the f*ck up.
a little touchy aren't you Rich. If any of these posts/posters have contravened the forum rules they should of course be deleted/locked. otherwise shut the f*ck up
Point Taken...

:)

My own comments were not adressed at any other site, I don't subscribe to them, more about how dull it has become around here and how we seem to have lost a number of regular contributors of late.

i echo these sentiments. the question that is the most important to me at the moment: what can be done about this? join forces, like ilya adviced, of course ... but then? what else could be done ... nobody seems to have any idea. or have we become what seany says:

SSU or whatever it's called (the current name is not less weird) been down more than few times, add two renamings here. So do we take it now as that the initial argument of expectations of 24x7 availability of a hobby site (as sapfans still is) or its owner, was pointless?
