Banned for Life at the "other" site

Post by ccm » Fri Mar 06, 2009 11:05 am

I've been banned for life at the Uber site and wondered if one of the mods/admins that volunteers for both sites could find out why - when I try to log in I get the message I'm banned for life with no reason given. I didn't want to PM anyone here and get thumped for that! My ID is the same at both sites.

Ciao,

Cyn

There is something strange going on. I replied to this on Friday....

Do you have duplicate logins to the other site ? That will cause you to be banned.

Rich

No duplicate logins. I think it has to do with the acceptance of the terms - I had trouble getting the "accept" button to work.

Thanks for your response!

I tested the accept button and it works just fine. What was the user you tried to create?

My user ID is ccm - it worked for quite a while and then about a year ago (?) I was banned. Before that when I would log in the site would require clicking accept to log in and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't - I think it is probably my employer's security that is the problem. Does the accept button generate a pop-up window?
