Backing Up My Favorites

Postby tb75252 » Tue Sep 14, 2010 3:03 pm

Okay guys, I am just a humble _end user_ of SAP R/3 (SAP Logon says that I am using Release 710) -- nothing more than that!

I frequently manage to delete some of my Favorites... While inputting data etc., I tend not to look too much at the screen, so I might think that I am in MD04 but in actuality I am in my Favorites screen. So I press the Delete key several times thinking that I am clearing a field in MD04 or something like that and voilà I have managed to delete several Favorites entries! (I have quite a few Favorites on my SAP Easy Access screen.)

Questions: (I am trying to solve this problem without getting the IT people involved!!)
1) Is there a way for me to apply some sort of protection to my Favorites screen so that I get a confirmation window if I attempt to delete one? (Something similar to what one can do in Microsoft Excel, for instance.)
2) Is there a way for me to back up my Favorites into a text file or Excel file etc.? Or maybe to create a backup printout of my Favorites?

Thanks.

you can use the "download to PC" and "upload to PC" function from the Favourites dropdown menu.... save as txt file...
