Tool to download SAP R/3 data into excel?Hello Experts,
quick question: Is there a tool available that allows to downlad SAP data into an Excel file? We are looking for a tool that is able to download material data / BOM data into an excel sheet from material tables. A function to explicity map in what column what data element should be stored would be great to have. If somebody knows a tool that can do that, please let me know. Also other quick solutions (no in deep abap coding) are welcome. Thanks in advance, Garp
Tool to download SAP R/3 data into excel?Hello,
Did you search the internet for this? You should be able to find something (good). I just started Google with a search term including SAP and I got a number of hits, including http://www.solonde.com. I have never used the tool, but according to the website their product is powerfull. Trust this helps. Regards, Jan Pel
Thanks for the tool recommendations. However, it seems that the tools are just able to dump the data to a file/DB.
Are there options to change column order before writing it to a file or write the data to column 9 of the excel sheet. So as you see for us would it really be imported to determine the output format before creating the file. From the product description this feature seems not to be provided by both tools. Please correct me if I am wrong. Best regards, Garp
Hello,
Did you consider TCode: SQVI - Quick Viewer. Make report and download it to csv file. Upload that in excel. In excel you cannot view structured data in more than two dimensions. If you have multiple items in one master record they will be showed in excel as multiple lines. Gordan
X-SheetX-sheet will do this, using the built in analysis, use an sql query to get the data from the table you need then, you can move, hide columns as you please then export to xls, html, xml, csv. Free trial

SAP R/3 to ExcelHi,
StreamServe can do this quite easily either in a push or pull scenario from SAP. When we talked to them a while back I believe they had customers using their product for just what you desire. Regards, Iggy
TxShuttle maybe the solutionIf you have a transaction from which you can extract some values Txshuttle may help you.
Let's say you want to extract a series of data from a list of materials. You ask TxShuttle for displaying the material information on various views and for extracting different fields to specific Excel column. You can map it exactly to the structure you need. Et voilàhttp://www.adar.fr/Winshuttle
