Concur Interface

Hi
Thinking of integrating Concur with our ECC (later with S4 HANA).
We run SAP HR & FICO in the same instance.
It is recommended to create all our employees as vendors (as a new acct group) for managing reimbursement to employees.

In our environment the vendor master governance is handled by supply chain business team. They want to avoid creating Employee vendor master as it only adds work and no value addition to SCM process. It makes sense.

When HR and concur is integrated, they should get all employee related info for managing travel and capturing expenses and pass it on directly to AP for reimbursements (separately or with payroll etc.)

Anyone exposed to this scenario? and how do you go about without vendor masters for employees?

We used vendor masters for employees.
Using account group security, we could allow the travel folks maintain employee vendors without them being able to affect "real" vendors. I think this is the common approach.
