We are having a difficult time configuring taxes for shipments from US to Canada.
What is the recommended configuration to achieve this?
Currently for US customers we are using TAXUSX taxing procedure and for Canada customers we are using internal tax procedure TAXCA.
How do we "marry" the 2 taxing procedures in Vertex?
Thank you

You don't need to merge them. Which is higher? Use the highest one and let it go.alternatively, you can create a new procedure and call it taxuca and include all necessary rules for both usa and canada taxes based on the product or service. This will only work well for a well configured environment. Send me a copy of the installation and implementation guide so I can view it and give you feedback.

Thanks for the info. I have received information from our Headquarters in Germany to help configure this tax.

Can anyone tell me how different are these two softwares? Can a person who has worked on Sabtrix be equipped to work on vertex as well?
Thanks!
