I have seen in help that GUIXT script can be stored centrally. But i did not find how to do it. If any body can tell me how to do it ,that would be great.I also want to store some images centrally is that possible?..

In the GuiXt profile related to each user, there are 4 directory locations available for script files. I tend to put scripts specifically related to that user in directory location 4, going back to the first one for more general scripts e.g. sign on screen. I create directories per person, department or whatever is required and save the scripts on the central server in the relevant directory related to that user, department etc.

but how do i put the script in these directories?..
what i did is when i got a synactive popup,i did edit->script.and it opened a notepad file with some name and in the local dir of c: in mypc.
now if i want this change to be visible on other systems, i have to put this in some central dir and the path should be specified...how do i do this.
basically my intension is to change the screen look for all the users.
i just read in help that logo can be stored centrally for transaction variants using SHDI tcode.similarly how do i do it for scripts.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

By default the script/text file is saved on the local PC but just do a File-->'Save as' to point it to where you want it to go i.e. a directory on the server setup for the person or group that the changes apply to. The name of the file is set by GuiXt and will relate to the screen being changed so don't change this.

I do not know if these questions are answered, so apologies if they are:
Storing of the files - This can be done locally, on the users workstation, however, the downside to this is that the user has access to the scripts directly, (Can Edit Them), and also, that updated scripts would need to be distributed to all workstations.
You can store it on a file server, a more viable option, however, should the server be down, you will be working with standard SAP Screens.
You may want to consider storing the files in the SAP Web Repository. This way you inherit the SAP Authorization Functions, you have a viable version management, and, you do not need to distribute the updated files to every user once you have made updates.
All the options for storing the files are determined by the guixt.ini file, which amongst other things, points to the working directory of the script files.
