Postby ramesh_kala » Tue May 06, 2014 5:29 am

Dear Experts,

We are implementing Interface and need Idoc for Maintenance order changes, we could successfully able to create Idoc by standard
IDoc IORDER, However unable to find any thing with regard to changes to a maintenance order like field changes, Component changes and operation changes.

If some one already worked on this, Could you pl share the information.

Check out the following OSS note:

812542 - Recommendation: Do not use Work Management Interface anymore
Version 3 Validity: 07-02-2013 - active
Language English (Master)

Header Data
Released On 07-02-2013 16:25:26
Release Status Released for Customer
Component PM-WOC Maintenance Order Management
Priority Recommendations / Additional Info
Category Consulting

Symptom
You want to use one of the following IDoc message types to integrate SAP ERP with another SAP system or a third-party system:
IMATIS,
IMEASR,
INOTIF,
INTUPD,
IOAUPD,
IORDER,
IORUPD,
IWKCEN.

Other Terms
PWKC, INOT, IORD, PWMI, IWMI, IMATIS, IMEASR, INOTIF, INTUPD, IOAUPD, IORDER, IORUPD, IWKCEN.

Reason and Prerequisites
Interfaces and numerous BAPIs are now available.

Solution
SAP recommends that you do not create new system integrations using the above-mentioned IDocs and the corresponding transactions for distributing them (PWKC, INOT and IORD). These objects are outdated and no longer benefit from new developments.
SAP recommends using the following interfaces instead:
Interface SAP Industry Solutions - Work Management Interfaces (IS-U-WM)
Interface Product Life-Cycle Management - External Scheduling Interface for Service Orders (CS-SDL).

Numerous BAPIs exist both in HR and PM/CS (HR BAPI method TimeAvailSchedule.Build delivers HR availability data).
