How to process IDOC of type CLFMAS01 [RESOLVED]

Postby DrSidewalk » Fri Feb 15, 2013 10:13 am

IN WE20 we have a partner type of 'LS' and a partner of 'LLL'.
For this profile there are two Message types set up, the first being MATMAS and the second being MACLF1 (Characteristics).
The settings for MACLF1 are:

Process code = CHRM,
Triggered by background program.

Clicking on the process code show the settings@:

Identification = IDOC_INPUT_CHRMAS
Option ALE = 'Processing with ALE service' radio button on
Processing type = 'Processing by function module' radion button on.

I can create a successful IDOC in status 64, but what I can't determin is how to process it. Can anyone be of help.
Neither WE19 or BD87 seem to be able to process it.

Don't you get any message at all when you process it with BD87?
You could try with program RBDAPP01, but that's what BD87 uses for status 64 IDocs, anyway.

That's the strange thing. I can see a valid clfmas01 Idoc in status 64 via we09. In BD87 I can enter this idoc number and execute. I then see a entry which shows status red (Idoc in tRFC queue), but, if I then click on this line and look at the idoc or the tRFC entry (buttons at the top of the screen) it displays another idoc altogether, and also the tRFC link shows a completely different entry . SM58 shows no entries for my IDOC, or in fact any entries for today. Strange indeed.

Problem resolved. I was using the wrong message type for the material characteristics. I was using 'MKCLF1' instead of 'CLFMAS'. They both have different process codes and therefore different processing FM's. So, all should be okay now.
My thanks to all that and my apologies for being stupid. I should have checked that earlier.
