IDoc for fixed assets - how to generate

Hello,
I need some advice. I want to create an interface with SAP ECC to an external system (eg. PI, BizTalk) and generate data from the SAP ECC, mainly fixed assets, preferably in the form IDocs. Communication should be asynchronous.
I would like to generate IDoc during creating an fixed asset in the tcode AS01, as well as change asset in the tcode AS02. I cannot use standard mechanisms here as Master Data Distribution and message control.

I decided to use ALE scenario and generate an IDoc based on the BAPI interface (object BUS1022). I want to use the ALE message types: FIXEDASSET_CREATEFROMDATA1 and FIXEDASSET_CHANGE.

Unfortunately I don't know how to organize the automatic generation of IDocs during creating/changing the assets in tcodes AS01, AS02. Can I do this by calling the appropriate FM (for example BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE1) from some exit when creating an asset?
Could use some other solution to create IDoc with fixed asset, such as custom IDoc and fill it in some exit?
